Guidelines for Outside Vendors at National Ijtima
Outside vending stalls are allowed at the National Ijtima of Majlis Ansarullah, USA as a privilege for vendors and benefit of Ansar brothers. Vendors must adhere to the guidelines outlined herein and any other guidelines that may be subsequently communicated. Application for a stall at the 2015 National Ijtima can be submitted here.
- Due to the nature of the Ijtima program, the duration of the stalls is Friday morning through Saturday evening; all stalls must be wrapped up by Saturday midnight.
- Vendor and any assistants must be members of the Ahmadiyya Jama’at.
- A maximum of 2-3 persons will be allowed at a stall at any given time.
- Vendor must respect the sanctity of the mosque regardless of where they are on the premises.
- Vendor may vend only on the premises and within the allotted space.
- Vendor must not sell anything that is of un-Islamic nature.
- Vendor may vend only allowed and agreed upon items.
- Vendor may vend only during the allowed time.
- Vendor may not interfere with the Ijtima proceedings.
- Vendor must avoid loitering during the proceedings of the Ijtima.
- Vendor must cooperate with the Ijtima management and follow instructions.
- If serving food, vendor must ensure hygiene and safety.
- Vendor must ensure cleanliness and must not litter around the stall or anywhere on the premises.
- Vendor must clean any litter, spill, etc. caused by the vendor.
- The Ijtima management, Majlis Ansarullah, USA, or the Jama’at will not be responsible for or liable to any loss or hazard to the vendor.
- Vendor must cease operation if asked to, due to non-adherence to the aforementioned guidelines or for any other reason.
